INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION
HEALTH COACHING

Integrative Nutrition combines principles of medical nutrition with functional principles to provide counseling, education, and guidance for personalized, diet and lifestyle recommendations. It explores the connection between what we eat and various aspects of life, such as social connections, movement, career choices, finance, joy, and home environment. Health Coaching includes guidance to help clients reach their health and wellness goals, such as improved nutrition, better sleep, increased energy, and management of stress and fatigue. It also provides a deeper understanding of food systems, and how what we eat impacts how we feel. Health Coaching is specific to the client and provides a safe space to explore the strong connection between food and mood.

ENERGY WORK

  • • $100 Per 60-Minute Session

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, where practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on touch through which energy is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical balance and healing. This practice is performed on a massage table with the patient being fully clothed. The practitioner works around the body to rebalance the energy surrounding the psychical body. Reiki promotes stress reduction, deep relaxation and a deeper connection with the mind and body. 

BEHAVIORAL THERAPY FOR MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS

  • • $200 Initial Session

    • $175 Per 60-Minute Session Afterwards

My practice includes treating adults, athletes, military, law enforcement, legal, and medical professionals in private practice. I provide Telehealth and in-office sessions. I practice mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques, but do utilize other treatment modalities as needed. I believe in treating patients using a wholistic approach to wellness and making a mind and body connection. Therapy involves a commitment to yourself, and an understanding that self-care is not selfish, but necessary. Positive results come when the patient is receptive to self-awareness, active learning, letting go of excuses, and doing the work necessary to move forward. Therapy can help patients increase self-esteem, improve communication skills, reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and live a healthier lifestyle.

MINDFULNESS + MEDITATION

Mindful Meditation classes and courses are offered in the office throughout the year.

Mindfulness is the practice of being in the present moment. Being mindful means purposefully paying attention to our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and your surrounding environment as you go through your day. Mindfulness is a practice, but it is simple to start. Live in the moment. Find joy in the simple tasks in life. Try to intentionally bring an open, accepting and attentive mind to everything you do. 

Meditation can help to enhance a deep state of relaxation and tranquility. During meditation, you focus your attention and let go of the stream of thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress. Meditation allows you to focus on following your breath and bring awareness to your body. Benefits of meditation may include increased awareness, clarity, concentration, decision making, and feelings of joy. It may also decrease stress, anxiety and feelings of depression and hopelessness. ‎
