All About Bio-Individuality

Bio-individuality is the idea that everyone has unique and different needs.

What works for one person may not work for another. We all have specific things that support our health and happiness. Health and wellness is complex. There are many variables and it is impossible for everyone to be on the same regime. It’s not as simple as eating clean and exercising. What makes us whole includes both what we put in our bodies as well as nourishes us off the plate. Our lifestyle choices, or Primary Food, brings awareness to our full picture of health. These may include concepts such as Relationships, Creativity, Finances, Home Environment, Career, Education, Joy, and Social Life. How we live impacts how we feel. 

Our food choices, or Secondary Food, can be driven by various components of life. If we only look at food as a “diet,” we are missing the bigger picture. There are factors that drive our food choices, which can include Lifestyle, Environment, Economy, Society, and Culture. Whole body nourishment takes place on many levels. Remember that food and mood are highly connected.
