Self-care is not selfish.

You will hear me say that a lot. If you don’t take care of yourself, you will not be able to fully take care of any other aspect of your life. Health and wellness is a journey. It starts with taking small steps and practicing them consistently until they become second nature. Self-care also needs to be something that is enjoyed. It doesn’t need to be something that everyone does, but it does need to be something that benefits you. Below are some fundamental elements of developing a solid self-care practice:

  • Morning and Evening Routines

  • Daily Movement

  • Being in Nature

  • Social Connections

  • Breathwork

  • Gratitude Practice

  • Rest and Sleep

  • Learning to Respond and not React

  • Journaling

  • Goal Setting

  • Surrounding yourself with positive people

Stop expecting YOU from other people. Let go of what others think. Trust your instincts. Caring for yourself has a tremendous impact on your present and your future. Contact me to learn more about how to develop a strong self-care practice.
